A visit to De Bastei is not complete without visiting our museum café. The café is located on the top floor of the museum and therefore has the most beautiful view in all of Nijmegen!

In our museum café, De Lindenberg makes the coffee and you can enjoy our famous apple pie. We work together with Oregional and source our products as much as possible within a 50 km circle. Where possible, even directly from the land. The farmers and growers we work with have a lot of love for their animals, crops, environment and products. Our regional products are always super fresh, because our proud drivers pick them up in the morning and deliver them the same day. In this way we put the best of the region on the menu.

High above the bustle of the city you can relax and dream away for a while. You look from the Valkhofpark to the river; with its three bridges, the floodplains and Veur-Lent on the other side. Imagine how the Romans sailed here in galleys. Imagine yourself for a moment on the Waalkade in 1860... and enjoy the here and now!

The museum café is open Monday to Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
